My chest freezer’s lid does not seal tightly resulting in frost building up along the top portion of the freezer.
To adjust the lid to improve the seal, remove the hinge covers located at the back of the unit. Loosen the hinge screws attaching the hinges to the freezers. Press down firm on the lid to help seat it properly. Tighten the screws loosened previously.
Can I install my freezer outside or in a garage?
The unit is designed to be used indoors, in a temperature controlled environment.
How do I defrost my freezer?

What temperature should the freezer be at?
The unit should be in the 0 to 8 degrees Fahrenheit range. However, when you first turn on the freezer or put a lot of food in it, it may take up to 24 hours for the freezer to reach this temperature range.
